Sometimes, you go all in on an activity, only to find it’s not at all interesting, but a new study can help you avoid some of those. It reveals the 100 most boring tourist attractions in the world.

• The ranking by Solitaired is based on an analysis of more than 66-million Google reviews of over 32-hundred popular tourist attractions in 384 cities in 71 countries.
• Researchers came up with a “boredom score” for each attraction, based on the use of 11 keywords describing the reviews as boring, tiresome, lifeless and uninteresting.
• The U.S. seems to be lacking excitement, as we’re home to the top seven boring attractions on the list.
• Number one is Branson Scenic Railway in Missouri, which travels through part of the Ozark Mountains on a 40-mile round trip. Reviewers say they were “unimpressed by the views” and “a little bored after a while of just seeing treetops.”
• Illuminarium Atlanta, an “immersive experience that plays 4K interactive projections with 360-degree immersive audio and in-floor vibrations,” comes in second on the list. Some visitors say it was “only cool for the first 15 minutes” and that they “left after 40 minutes despite paying $144 for four people.”
