Why Are People Throwing Cheese on Their Babies?

Seems like it doesn’t take much to go viral these days, but the latest viral fad, “cheesing”, might be the dumbest yet.

It started with a video posted to Twitter on Thursday of someone throwing a slice of cheese at their baby brother’s face.  Before long, the video had been viewed 8 million times and other people were posting their own ‘cheesing’ videos involving their children or pets. However, viral fame comes at a cost.

The person behind the original Twitter post took it down, saying the trend “got way out of hand”. Ya think?

Throwing cheese on a kids’ face is weird and I feel like you’re just wasting good cheese! Quit wasting cheese for the internet! Didn’t your moms tell you not to play with your food?
