Time to call a lawyer…A sports lawyer.

Over 20% of the average monthly cable bill in the U.S. goes towards sports.

For instance ESPN costs you $7.89 per subscriber.

But here’s the deal…You promise sports…You have to deliver or you get to talk to the attorney general.

The attorney general of New York last week demanded cable and satellite operators stop charging customers for live sports, since they’re not providing that service.

This is the point where the lawyers get called.

For cable and satellite providers to refund customers they’ll need the networks to refund them.

For the networks to refund the cable and sat guys they’ll have to convince the leagues to give them money back.

And that’s code for send in the lawyers.
