James Hetfield Dramatic Acting Debut To Premiere At Sundance
James Hetfield can rock, but can he act in a drama? Fans are about to find out as the Metallica frontman branches out on the big screen at the Sundance Film Festival.
Hetfield will play a Utah highway patrol officer in the Ted Bundy serial killer dramatic thriller, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, And Vile.
The movie, which will premiere on January 26, also stars Zac Efron as the title character and Lily Collins as his longtime girlfriend.
The Rock Hall of Famer has appeared in his band’s documentary, Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster, plus other TV shows as himself, but this will be his first role as a character.
Which other rockers have made the jump to the big screen? How about the other way?
