I Scream, You Scream, ‘Cause She Licked The Ice Cream!

In a disturbing video that’s turned up on social media, a woman can be seen licking the contents of a tub of Blue Bell ice cream before replacing the cover and putting it back in a grocery store freezer.

While it’s unclear where the incident occurred, the video has resulted in backlash for Blue Bell Creameries as people have taken notice of the ice cream’s lack of a safety seal. Blue Bell has responded with a message on its website, noting their lids are frozen “tightly” to the cartons to create “a natural seal.” The company says it should be obvious to customers if the seal is broken.

Blue Bell officials say they’re working with police to determine where the licking took place. So maybe don’t eat Blue Bell ice cream for a few weeks…
