Digging Up Dillinger

The relatives of long-deceased gangster John Dillinger have gotten approval by Indiana officials to exhume his grave. They say there’s an imposter buried in Dillinger’s place in Indianapolis because the FBI shot the wrong man in Chicago back in 1934.
The FBI just tweeted that they have “a wealth of information’ to prove the family’s “conspiracy theory wrong. The family says they have evidence otherwise that includes different fingerprints and eye color of the man buried in Dillinger’s place.
The grave is supposed to be exhumed on New Year’s Eve this year but the cemetery where “maybe Dillinger” is buried is fighting the court’s decision to allow it. Dillinger was known as a gang leader responsible for a string of bank robberies. He even escaped prison twice and was once the FBI’s most wanted man.
