Chinese ‘Surveillance’ Balloon Arrives In Myrtle Beach

A Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Has Been Detected Over The U.S. this week. Initially seen hovering over the northern part of the country the last few days and spent most the say Friday making it’s way east.

The high-altitude balloon was spotted over Montana on Wednesday, flying in through Canada. Officials discussed shooting it down but have since advised President Biden against it due to fear the debris could pose a safety threat to people on the ground.

A senior official says the balloon is the size of “three buses” and complete with a technology bay, which they said “wouldn’t characterize” as “revolutionary.” The Pentagon says they have reached out to China “with urgency through multiple channels.” A Chinese Foreign Ministry statement said the balloon was a ‘civilian’ airship used for research, mainly meteorological purposes.”

Growing calls for action have all eyes on the South Carolina coast as the Chinese ‘surveillance’ balloon makes it’s way through Myrtle Beach today. (Saturday 2/4)
