Bark to the Park Returns to Saluda Shoals Park

Pawmetto Lifeline will host their annual Bark to the Park event on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Saluda Shoals Park. Each year, more than 800 people and their dogs come out for one of the largest dog-friendly events in the Midlands!

McDaniels Subaru Bark to the Park is a fundraising campaign and event where proceeds directly benefit homeless pets in the Midlands. Pet lovers are encouraged to form a walk team or participate on their own to raise money for the homeless dogs and cats in the Midlands region. This life-saving event supports the mission of Pawmetto Lifeline, a local 501 (c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue whose mission is to end pet homelessness in the Midlands. A person can also donate if he or she cannot be present on April 13.

On April 13, walk registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 11:00 a.m. After a leisurely, scenic walk through beautiful Saluda Shoals Park with your dog, participants can enjoy an After-Pawty with pet-friendly vendors, performances by K9s in Flight, craft beer, live DJ, Pelican’s SnoBalls, meet-and-greets with your favorite Richland County officers from On Patrol:Live and more! Attendees can also participate in canine contests including Best Costume, Best Look-a-Like, and Best Pet Trick.

Bark to the Park will be held at Saluda Shoals Park at 6071 St. Andrews Rd, Columbia, S.C. 29212. For more information, to donate, or to register, visit www.barktothepark.com.
