A North Carolina woman is working her way towards a world record by collecting as many losing lottery tickets as she can.
Flipping through the current Guinness Book last month, Sue Harrington found that no one has tried this attempt, so she set off on her quest.
In the first two weeks, the Army veteran has gathered more than 1,700 tickets, but Harrington admits at this pace, she won’t reach her goal of one million until she turns 90.
Harrington has turned to the public, asking that people send some her way, so she can make her submission by New Years Day in 2021.
