A Florida man attempting to use the bathroom was bitten by a four-foot snake that popped out of his toilet.

Fortunately for the victim, the snake didn’t bite him where you might be thinking; he received the injury on his hand.

The incident occurred over the weekend in Coral Springs when the unidentified man went to do his duty at 4 a.m., according to Coral Springs police spokesman Chris Swinson.

When the man lifted the toilet seat, the snake — later identified as a nonvenomous ball python — lunged at him and sunk its fangs into his hand.

The man is expected to recover.

The snake, however, may require a little TLC before it’s back on its — well, belly.

It was taken to the Coral Springs Humane Society, where it’s being treated for a nasty scale infection.
