Cop Had to Perform the Heimlich Maneuver After a Guy Tried to Swallow a Bag of Weed

It’s not a good idea to swallow a bag of drugs to hide it from the cops for several reasons . . . a big one being:  You could DIE.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol recently shared dashcam footage from earlier this month of an officer pulling over a vehicle for speeding. When the cop walked up to the car, he noticed that the guy was CHOKING, so he got him out, and started performing the Heimlich maneuver. Thankfully, it worked.  It turned out the guy had tried to swallow a baggie of marijuana when he got pulled over.

The man was cited for speeding, failure to wear a seat belt, and marijuana possession.  It’s unclear what that will cost him, but he should definitely tack on a beer for the cop, a state trooper named Charles Hoskin, who saved his life.
