It’s no secret that the members of Metallica are pretty well off. Heck, in Some Kind Of Monster they gave Robert Trujillo a million dollars on his first day in the band. But which Metallica member is the richest?

Turns out it’s Lars Ulrich, who according to MetalCastle.net has an estimated net worth of $350 million – edging out James Hetfield at $300 million. Guitarist Kirk Hammett is worth an estimated $200 million, while ‘new guy’ Robert Trujillo, who joined the band in 2003, is worth $30 million. Not band for a bunch of California metalheads!
