A mashup artist named DJ Cummerbund just unleashed the KISS/B-52’s mashup the world needs – “Detroit Rock Lobster”.
The song drops Paul Stanley’s vocals over that quirky “Rock Lobster” guitar riff, which match up far better than you’d expect. He even seamlessly combined KISS and B-52’s concert footage for the video. Peter Griffin (Family Guy) even makes an appearance about 3 minutes in.
DJ Cummerbund has made a name for himself (or herself) with other mashups like combining Rush and Kelis or Ozzy with Earth, Wind & Fire. Check that out below:
