Police in Lufkin, Texas say they’ve identified the woman who licked a tub of ice cream before putting it back in a store freezer.
Although they’re withholding her name pending an arrest, Lufkin Director of Public Safety Gerald Williamson says “appropriate charges will be filed” against the woman. A source tells NBC News she could face a second-degree felony charge of tempering with a consumer product, which could net her up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. However, they found out she’s a minor, so now the punishment is up to the juvenile justice system.
I think she should get quite a hefty fine and some mandatory community service.
Man Arrested After Allegedly Licking Ice Cream In Copycat Video
So, apparently licking tubs of ice cream is the latest thing to post on social media to try to go viral.
The latest person to attempt the nasty stunt was arrested.
36–year-old Linise Martin III was arrested in Lousiana for allegedly licking ice cream at a grocery store and returning the container to the freezer. The video made its way online and that’s how Martin was identified. Martin went back to the store and claimed he actually purchased the ice cream he licked.
Martin was charged with criminal mischief and unlawful posting of criminal activity for notoriety and publicity.
Can we stop doing this please?? It’s gross!
