Is this the ultimate trolling or did someone forget to actually fill it? Officials in New Hampshire are scratching their heads over an empty time capsule from a half-century ago.
Sealed in 1969, the safe had been moved from the old municipal building in Derry to the library, with the intention to be opened this year.
After dialing the combination, which was written on the back, Cara Potter couldn’t believe the outcome. “We were a little horrified to find that there was nothing in it,” the library director admits.
In an interview with WMUR-TV, Potter wonders if there was ever anything placed inside or whether someone opened it prematurely.
