The World’s Largest Doomsday Bunker Community!

Man, I love the tours these dudes do so much. There’s this one ocean-front house in La Jolla that I’m convincing myself that *I WILL* buy one today. And of course, the completely self-sustaining log cabin homes in Utah…also on my list.

But last night, we watched this bunker community. 18 square miles that used to house military grade weapons is being converted to homes that are meant to survive a “major event.” The bunkers, empty and “as is” come in at $45,000. It’s amazing to see how they take these spaces from nothing but concrete to complete homes.

While this specific property isn’t on the top of my list to buy, I’d definitely noted that it exists and I may wanna consider something in the middle of the land.
