The Prohibition Masquerade Gala Heads To The 1920s To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

It was the roaring 20’s and dancing was the craze!  Take a step back in time at The Prohibition Masquerade Gala Saturday, April 1st at the Columbia Museum of Art.  It’s a 1920’s themed soirée to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Visionary of the Year campaign!  Open bar, silent auction and much more.  All proceeds support cures and treatments for blood cancer patients. So who is Rus Horton? Rus is a Mortgage Loan Officer with First Community Bank. He is participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Visionary of the Year Campaign, hoping to pay tribute to his beloved late father, Buck. Even as a child, Rus witnessed first-hand how much compassion and hard work his dad put into helping others with love – building strong relationships amongst people from all walks of life within their community.

Stepping outside of his comfort zone, Rus hopes he can raise enough money to make a real impact in the fight against blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. Join Rus’ fight by donating or buy tickets to his Masquerade Bash!
