The Ice Cream Burglar

A New Mexico man looking to cool off this summer will have to do so from the slammer now.

According to security footage obtained by police, Paul Trujillo and an accomplice grabbed 22 boxes of ice cream bars from the walk-in freezer at a local Dairy Queen back in late July.

The 31-year-old was busted last week by cops after a stakeout, reports the Las Vegas Optic.

Trujillo is now facing felony commercial burglary and misdemeanor larceny charges.

You know what? I don’t believe in theft by any means, but I get it. It’s hot, ice cream is freaking delicious… I don’t blame Paul for this one. Shame on you, but I get it. Who doesn’t love a Dilly Bar?
