Because of what I do…I consume a lot of media.  More than you almost definitely, but in the decade getting ready to end…I’m kinda surprised that there seems to be some stuff left to binge watch.

The kids at the A.V. Club put out an amazing list of their picks for the 100 Best Shows of the 2010s

Honestly I figured I would have this list on lock but lets hit what I got…what was a false start…And what I missed.

Things I watched in the last decade:

96. Doctor Who (2005-present)

This is going to come up so I’ll admit it on this first entry…I’m an anglophile.  I love British television except for that baking show…I can’t do that.  Add to that I’m a science fiction nerd and this one was a must watch.

92. Last Week Tonight With John Oliver (2014-present)

Double whammy here he was English, became an American and is hands down funny and blessed with an enormous budget for silly things from HBO.

91. Broadchurch (2013-2017)

I didn’t watch this on BBC America but rather binge watched it on Netflix about 3 months ago.  Well worth the time and as I got it under the wire for the decade I’ll take it

86. The Crown (2016-present)

Yeah…Ok…They’re all British so far.  I’m concerned for the new season with the cast changes but open to watch

83. Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (2013-2018)

Loved the show…Loved the book.  Still sad that he’s gone.

69. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017-present)

Again one that I didn’t hit immediately but playing catch up now.  Very funny.

67. Big Mouth (2017-present)

Sex, potty and some gross out humor all combined with razor sharp pitiless writing.

65. DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (2016-present)

I watch this…and I also DVR it…But I don’t love it.  Of the DC Universe stuff that the CW puts on I’m more a fan of Flash and Supergirl.

50. Adventure Time (2010-2018)

This one I’ve seen every episode multiple times…My kids favorite cartoon for a while.

43. Schitt’s Creek (2015-present)

My kid turned me onto this one recently and we are currently binging.

42. Stranger Things (2016-present)

Loved the first season and I’ve been saving the second season.

30. Game Of Thrones (2011-2019)

Super nerd for this show all seasons.

16. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015-2019)

Surprisingly funny and hopeful for what is a pretty dark comedy.

10. Fleabag (2016; 2019)

Currently working through season 2.  Love it when she breaks the 4th wall to mock the camera.

8. Bob’s Burgers (2011-present)

Another of my childs favorites that I’ve sat through all the episode except the current season.

6. The Good Place (2016-2019)

Love this enough that after I binge watched the first season on Netflix I booked it on my DVR so I could get a weekly fix but sadly in the last season.

4. Parks And Recreation (2009-2015)

Watched not a single episode of this on broadcast television but have gone through all the episodes twice now on Netflix

False Starts:

70. Orphan Black (2013-2017)

Being an anglophile you would think this is right up my alley, but I got through the first three seasons and then the plot got so twisted that I lost it somehow.  Going back to it.

49. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015-2019)

Loved season 1 and then never went back for season 2.  Not sure if I love it enough to binge it but maybe.

9. 30 Rock (2006-2013)

I’ve seen a lot of these episodes but not all and the last few seasons none.  So seems like it belongs as a false start.

2. Mad Men (2007-2015)

Another one where the first two seasons had me captivated and then they lost me while I was waiting for new episodes.

Binges to come:

84. Sense8 (2015-2018)

My kid loved this one and I watched the first episode, but I need to go back to it.

79. Drunk History (2013-present)

I’ve seen bits and pieces of it…mostly on social media.  It looks like fun.

60. Orange Is The New Black (2013-2019)

Yeah I know “everybody” watched that…I didn’t.

59. Killing Eve (2018-present)

I do love Sandra Oh and the commercials that I’ve seen on BBC America look good so I’m excited by this one.

47. Archer (2009-present)

I have to watch it to find out why I’m apparently in the Danger Zone.

45. GLOW (2017-present)

Hunter and Sadie have been big fans for this one…I’ve looked at it on my Netflix feed several times but always seem to make a decision for another show.

36. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (2005-present)

Hunter and Sadie again on this one.  Need to take the time to do this one.

28. Russian Doll (2019-present)

Another one I’ve passed numerous times and just need to pull the trigger on.

1. Breaking Bad (2008-2013)

I know…I know…I’ll binge it.
