They seem to have a problem in Washington State.

There are just shy of 8,300 mile marker signs in the state.

200 or so of which are missing.

608 of which have had to be replaced in the last year.

In a related note the Washington Department of Transportation has begun removing the obviously stolen mileposts of 69 and 420.

If you don’t know the numerical code those are the sex number and the weed number.

But I don’t think they thought through what they replaced them with 68.9 and 419.9.

68.9 to me equals are you there yet?

419.9 to me equals I’m not quite high enough

No matter what if you steal one of these signs for your garage or dorm room…You’re looking at a thousand buck fine or 90 days in jail so maybe pay to get one printed.
