Sad days for Police in Lexington Kentucky

Cops in Kentucky “mourned” the loss of a tried and true friend on Monday after a doughnut truck caught fire on the side of the road.

Posting to social media, the Lexington Police department shared photos of the officers bowing their heads next to the blackened Krispy Kreme delivery vehicle along with the caption, “No words.”

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident and no doughnuts were lost since the driver had completed the run when flames broke out.

Police departments from as far away as the UK tweeted messages of support to their fellow law enforcement brothers and sisters. Meanwhile, the doughnut giant says they will send reinforcements “during this difficult time.”
