More and more are opting to turn their eventual funerals into a moment of joyous remembrance rather than a sad occasion, choosing to go out rocking.
Co-Op Funeral Care, the UK’s largest provider, has once again compiled a list of the top songs asked to be played at the departed’s ceremony, topped by Led Zeppelin and chock full of Queen.
“Stairway to Heaven” continues to be the most requested title, as it was in 2016, with Meatloaf’s “Bat Out of Hell” and Aerosmith’s “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” rounding out the top three.
Queen dominates the list, earning four places, along with tracks from Guns N’ Roses, Pink Floyd, and AC/DC.
I think I’ll probably just copy this playlist for my eventual funeral.
