Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Addresses Iron Maiden Snub

Metalheads around the world are irate over Iron Maiden getting snubbed – again – by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  And the Hall’s CEO thinks that’s a good thing.

After the 2023 HOF inductees were announced, CEO Greg Harris said “We love that people care. That they care if they’re in or out, and that their fans care.”

He also said the “odds are good” that Maiden will get in eventually. To date, only three metal bands have been inducted into the Hall of Fame: Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Judas Priest.

This year’s inductees include Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, George Michael, Missy Elliott, Kate Bush, Rage Against The Machine, and The Spinners.

Why do you think metal gets ignored by the Hall?  If you could induct five metal bands into the HOF right now, who would you choose?
