The Smashing Pumpkins and Guns N’ Roses are taking a road trip together.
Billy Corgan and company have signed on to open for GN’R in select cities on the band’s upcoming North American tour, a rep for the band revealed Thursday.
The appearances, all of which will be in July, will occur in Philadelphia, Detroit, Toronto, Washington D.C., East Rutherford and Boston.
It doesn’t seem that long ago that the Smashing Pumpkins were filling stadiums on their own. Also, this is a bizarre combo but maybe it will work. Either way, it’s smart, because you’ll get the 80s metal lover and the 90s grunge rocker. You hit two targets in one concert.
