Panera Bread just added some new menu options . . . including a macaroni-and-cheese SANDWICH.

An employee leaked a video of it last week, and people weren’t sure if it was real or not.  But it IS real, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect.

It’s two scoops of mac-and-cheese between two pieces of toasted white bread.  And they toss some parmesan crisps in there to give it a crunch. It might be a little different than their normal mac-and-cheese though.

The mac-and-cheese normally comes in a white cheddar cheese sauce.  But the sandwich version doesn’t look quite as creamy.  So they might have dialed it back to make it less of a mess.

The full sandwich is around $10, or half a sandwich for $5.  The full thing packs 860 calories.
