In 2006, when the first Borat movie came out the country of Kazakhstan…wasn’t Nice!

They in fact banned the movie and went on the offensive to explain that their country wasn’t a series of middle ages villages.

Well…When it is the one thing that they know about you…Eventually you learn to live with it…Or even better embrace it.

Kazakhstan’s tourism board has released a new advertising campaign, “Very nice,” to capitalize on the buzz around the new Borat sequel.

Borat, a fictional Kazakh journalist played by Sacha Baron Cohen, has the kind of backward ideas you don’t want people associating with your country, but…you want people to come to your country.

Kazakh Travel has its own YouTube channel and they’ve  released a series videos that use Borat’s famous catchphrase to describe the country’s attractions.
