Just The Tip Tuesday: How To Store Cilantro

On today’s Just The Tip Tuesday, we run down how to properly store cilantro so that it will last in your fridge, for up to a month!

  1. Remove the tie or rubberband. Rinse and pat dry.
  2. Place in a glass/jar with approx 1 inch of water.
  3. Put a plastic bag (upside down) over top & store in fridge.

I’ve had my cilantro stored like this for 3 weeks now and it’s still fresh and green!

On a side note, one of the cons of being single is how many fresh ingredients come in bulk sizes. Throwing out fresh food…a small price to pay for peace. If you know other ways to store fresh herbs (don’t say grow them, I can’t and I won’t), please share!

Cheers,

Amy
