Johnny Ramone’s Guitar Is Being Auctioned

Johnny Ramone‘s “Number One” guitar will soon be hitting the auction block.

The guitar, a 1965 Mosrite Ventures II, was the late musician’s main instrument for two decades; he used it for every live performance and in the recording of the Ramones’ 15 studio albums, according to producer Ed Stasium. It was previously on display at the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame Museum for a number of years, according to Boston-based auction house RR Auction.
