I don’t know if this tastes good.  I also don’t know how I’ll feel about myself if I start DRINKING MAYONNAISE.

The people that make Hellmann’s and Best Foods mayonnaise want you to try mixing it into your eggnog this year. Their recipe is:

FROZEN MAYO-NOG (makes 3 servings)

1/4th cup Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise
3 ounces Whole Milk
3 ounces Heavy Cream
3 ounces Simple Syrup
1⁄2 tsp Nutmeg, grated
1⁄2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon, powder
1 1/2 ounces Rum
1 1/2 ounces Apple Brandy
1 1/2 ounces Cognac
1 cup Ice

 

They’re selling a blended version called “Frozen Mayo-Nog” at a place in New York this month.  It hits the menu at a bar called Amy Fontaine’s on December 15th.  For everyone else, they posted the recipe, so you can make it yourself.

Each cup has four teaspoons of mayonnaise, along with milk, heavy cream, simple syrup, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon . . . plus rum, brandy, AND cognac.
