Disney+ Day is tomorrow.  It’s basically a day where a bunch of new stuff comes out.  It’s earlier this year, to lead into the D23 fan club convention this weekend.  Here are some highlights:

1. The premiere of the live-action “Pinocchio” with Tom Hanks as Geppetto.  (Trailer)

2.  The streaming premiere of “Thor: Love and Thunder”.  There’s also a “Marvel Studios Assembled” special about the making of the movie.

3.  A new original series called “Cars On the Road” with Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guyreturning as the voices of Lightning McQueen and Mater.  (Trailer)

4.  Brie Larson made a docuseries about 10 coming of age stories called “Growing Up”.  (Trailer)

5.  A new “Simpsons” short where Lisa learns that being a villain might be more fun than being a princess.

6.  Sing-along versions of “Frozen” and “Frozen 2”.

7.  A behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” called “Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return”.

 

And a few non-streaming events:

1.  At select AMC Theatres, there will be $5 screenings of “Encanto”, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, “Newsies”, “Cars”, and “Thor: Ragnarok” from the 8th to the 19th.  And if you’re a Disney+ subscriber, you can get a drink and popcorn combo for $5.

 

2.  Tomorrow only:  The parks in California and Florida are letting in Disney+ subscribers 30 minutes early.  There will also be special photo ops and character meet-and-greets.
