Canine’s Daring Escape Leads to Surprise Appearance at Metallica Concert

Metallica made history last weekend at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, by smashing attendance records during their epic two-night performance. Among the star-studded crowd, which included luminaries like Jason Momoa and John Travolta, an unexpected guest named Storm stole the spotlight.
Storm, a canine enthusiast with a penchant for metal, was spotted enjoying the concert on one of the nights. However, when she didn’t exit the venue with the human concertgoers, concerns arose, and she was taken to an animal shelter. The Animal Health & Wellness Organization took to Facebook to report that Storm had been abandoned at the event, but as it turns out, this was not the case. Metallica and Storm’s owner, Arizbeth Hurtado, later clarified the situation, revealing that Storm had ingeniously escaped from her home and found her way to the nearby concert venue to bask in the musical mayhem.
Metallica took to their social media platforms to share the real story, stating, “You may have heard about our unexpected four-legged fan at #M72LA! Despite initial reports, our dear friend Storm managed to sneak out of her home adjacent to SoFi Stadium and independently attended the concert. After a night of rock and metal with her fellow #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her rightful family the following day.” The band playfully added, “She had a blast listening to her favorite tracks, such as ‘Barx Æterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies,’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes.’ And just to be clear, bringing your furry friends to the #M72 World Tour is not advisable, but Storm sure had her moment in the spotlight.”

Hurtado, who lives right across from SoFi Stadium, shared her relief with PetHelpful, saying, “She is back home and safe! We discovered something new about her… she’s apparently a massive Metallica fan who decided to sneak out for the concert!”
Commenting on a photo that the Animal Health & Wellness Organization had posted of Storm seated at the stadium, Hurtado couldn’t help but chuckle, saying, “We had such a good laugh when we saw her sitting in an actual seat at the concert.” As Metallica emphasized, it’s best to leave your furry friends at home when attending a metal show, but for human fans, the opportunity to catch the legendary band’s upcoming concerts is still wide open. Tickets are available for purchase now.
