Been Caught Sleeping, Once, When The Car Was In Drive
Here’s a ringing endorsement for the smoothness of the ride that I’m pretty sure Tesla won’t be promoting anytime soon. Video has surfaced of a guy napping while his Model 3 cruises down a Los Angeles highway, possibly on autopilot.
According to Seth Blake, who posted the footage to Twitter, the man was seen “straight snoozing going 75 mph on the interstate, letting his Tesla do the work.”
Blake says the man had his hands on the steering wheel, but his head was resting on the seat. He allegedly “open[ed] his eyes once to look around, but he quickly dozed back to sleep.”
Fox News couldn’t confirm that autopilot was engaged at the time, and the electric car giant had no comment on Tuesday’s incident.
