Angus Young Came Up with Highway to Hell in the Bathroom

Sometimes our best ideas come to us in the bathroom-at least in the case of AC/DC‘s Angus Young!

In a new interview, AC/DC guitarist Angus Young has revealed that he came up with the idea for “Highway to Hell” while on the toilet.  To come up with the lyrics for the song, Angus head to the bathroom.

“And I’m just sitting on the throne more or less. And then I go, ​‘I think I’ve got it,”‘ said Angus.

Angus then tinkered with the song with his brother Malcolm and “Highway to Hell” was born!
