We’ve never had a Florida boy before… this little guy has been reprimanded for calling 911 to complain he was hungry and wanted a pizza — and then he was given a pizza.
The questionable lesson came at the hands of Sanford police officers, who responded to the call last Friday, police revealed on Tuesday. When the cops arrived at the home, they found a 5-year-old boy and his 9-year-old sister, who told officers she had no idea he’d used the phone, according to an incident report.
After sitting the boy down and lecturing him on the proper use of the 911 system, officers left — only to return a short time later with a large pizza from Pizza Hut. I don’t think he learned a lesson here…

I don’t think we’ve had one of these either… Here’s a ‘Florida Man’ story with a happy ending – a dog owner’s quick action saved his beloved pet from becoming an alligator’s lunch.
The Nakomis, FL resident says he heard the noise and ran outside to find the 10-foot gator dragging his black lab into the canal behind his house. He immediately jumped in and pried open the gator’s mouth to save the dog.
Both man and dog suffered injuries but are expected to be okay. And the gator was captured later that night.

And of course, a Florida hour wouldn’t be complete without a Florida criminal…
A Florida man has been charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly took a leak in a nightclub’s ice machine.
Michael Williams, 28, was taken into custody over the weekend in connection with the incident, which police say happened at the 260 First nightclub in Saint Petersburg. According to Williams’ arrest report, security guards at the popular night spot saw him “urinating inside the ice chest used to distribute ice throughout” the club. After he refused their request to leave, they called police.
After Williams was taken into custody, officers found a bag of marijuana in his pants, his arrest report reveals. The discovery resulted in the filing of an additional charge: misdemeanor marijuana possession. There’s no word on why Williams peed in the ice instead of a urinal.
