Yesterday was the 27th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death.  He took his own life at age 27 in 1994. And “Lost Tapes of the 27 Club”  recently created a “new” Nirvana song using artificial intelligence.  They plugged in around 30 Nirvana tracks . . . and the computer pumped out the song “Drowned In The Sun.”

The quality of the song is debatable, but the A.I. definitely nailed the Nirvana vibe.  By the way, the singer isn’t Kurt . . . or even computer-Kurt.  It’s Eric Hogan, the lead singer of the “ultimate” Nirvana tribute band Nevermind.
