1  2020 Cottontown Art Crawl is this Saturday March 14th 10 AM to 3 PM in the Historic Cottontown Neighborhood.

Residents and businesses will host more than 50 local artists on their porches to sell their original wares.

Come spend a few hours in historic Cottontown and buy some original artwork/pottery/crafts for your home.

2  Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson is running tomorrow March 13th through April 4th at Trustus Theatre on Lady Street.

from his early days as a child on the wild frontier of South Carolina’s Waxhaws to his controversial reign in the White House.

3  The Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show is tomorrow March 13th through the 15th at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds.

This show is the largest home and garden exhibition in the Midlands. 

Over 250 construction, home improvement, and outdoor products exhibits fill the Cantey, Goodman and Ellison Buildings, plus outdoor areas. 

Tickets are 2.50 to 5 dollars and military members get a 2 dollar discount.

4  Sounds of Silence Film Series: Nosferatu is tonight March 12th 6 PM at The Columbia Museum of Art and the Nickelodeon Theatre.

In celebration of It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection, the CMA has partnered with The Nickelodeon Theatre and Wired Music to bring you a unique silent film experience. 

Tickets 15 dollars for members of CMA or the Nick and 20 dollars for non members.

5  The 2020 CRFD ‘Fill The Boot’ Campaign kicks off Tuesday evening March 17th and runs through March 20th.

Columbia-Richland firefighters will be out at city and county intersections asking drivers to help ‘Fill the Boot’ in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Greater Carolinas.

Last year the department passed the $3-million-dollar mark in funds raised for the MDA.
